As a part of the Governor’s Challenge, Mizzou Soccer’s Sarah Thune traveled with other Mizzou athletes to help rebuild houses nearly one year after tornados flattened Joplin, Mo.

Mizzou Soccer

For three regular seasons from July 2012-February 2015, I served as the Director of Multimedia for the University of Missouri Women’s Soccer program. I managed the behind-the-scenes video exclusives on YouTube, all social media content, assisted in media relations, as well as executed several internal communications and game day production tasks.

From July 2012 to July 2015, I increased Mizzou Soccer’s Twitter and Facebook following by 61% and 20% respectively.

By November 2013 I helped Mizzou Soccer Twitter become the 13th most followed college soccer Twitter account in the nation.

Mizzou Soccer also ranked the 10th most followed team on Twitter among all U.S. women’s soccer programs, second in the SEC.
