Redshirt junior Lauren Flynn opens up about her idol – her mother Lucy. When Lauren was just 12 years old, her mother passed away from Leukemia. Lauren sat down to share her story on how cancer has impacted her life and how her mom continues to inspire her every day.
This was one of my most memorable interviews because of the genuine care I had for Lauren and her story. As she opened up about her mother and shared her memories, she reminded me of how special videos can really be – that they can move people.
