It’s hard to believe my team and I finished producing the third season of The SLICE, a behind-the-scenes mini-documentary style series on the Houston Dynamo’s MLS preseason. I am proud to see this series grow and push the boundaries of sports storytelling since day one.

Dynamo Dash Zone
For the 2017 MLS and NWSL season, I spearheaded the production of the Dynamo Dash Zone, a weekly magazine show on all Houston Dynamo and Dash news, broadcasted locally on the KUBE 57 to a 2,400,000 market.

Just a few days after the residual storms of Hurricane Harvey devastated Houston, Texas, and the Third Coast, I sat down with Dynamo and Dash athletes to reflect on their experiences during the storm. This was an incredibly emotional piece from interview to post-production, but the players’ heartfelt bytes successfully emoted the mood of being in Houston during this natural disaster.

After producing the first-of-its-kind video series behind MLS preseason last year, The SLICE Season 2 is finally here. The tone will be different as we attempt to authentically showcase the storylines of the 2017 Houston Dynamo squad, but I am confident the behind-the-scenes value will remain.
